Crockett Contemporary Art was founded in 2005 by Diana Lynn & Skip Shimmin. The gallery exhibits the work of mid-career and emerging artists from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The residency program is for artists who want to live and work in a supportive community. . Diana Lynn has been working with local artists since 1998 and has over nine years curatorial and gallery experience.
Skip Shimmin, now deceased, brought over fifteen years experience in graphics, design, art installation, lighting along with his contagious enthusiasm. His influence remains.
