Artists' Residency Program Crockett Contemporary Art is now accepting applications from artists who would like to participate in a month-long residency program. Each artist has a private room in a shared facility and also has a separate designated studio space. Our mission is to support artists in concentrating on their work and at the same time create a dynamic environment. Each week a special program will be available to the resident artists and at the completion of each residency the artist has the opportunity to share his or her work with the public at a Residency event. Submissions are reviewed by a panel. Each artist should provide material for the panel's consideration. The material presented should be professional and demonstrate the span of work created by the artist, with emphasis on current work or exploration. The program is generally aimed at mid-career artists, but all applications will be considered from all artists who believe they can benefit. Artists from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. At this time, the program is 100% dependent on residency fees and does not have financial assistance to offer. Once accepted into the program, the artist must pay for the residency in order to secure his or her space. Please note that there will be no refunds for cancellations unless a replacement can be found; then a $250 cancellation fee will be charged. Residencies are from the
1st through the 28th of each month and costs $500 a week. There is no
application processing fee. Use the submission guidelines provided on
our website when preparing your application.
